Great pictures of the old ALTEC headquarters at 1515 S. Manchester - it was recently demolished and a shopping center, I think, is being built on the site.

By golly, Yes, we need more shopping centers. I've seen several race tracks go down that path. Originally built in the middle of nowhere and than comes the urban sprawl. Years later noise ordinances and sky high taxes seals the deal.
Around here, do to the proximity of local ports and major highways, the farms are all turning into distribution warehouses. Wharehouses filled with Chinese crap at that.

You are right Bill. They are building this huge Amazon warehouse across from where I work. All so people can get their Chinese crap same or next day.
